New Chapter at the Agency for the Promotion of Downtown Coimbra

The new Governing Bodies of the Agency for the Promotion of Downtown Coimbra (APBC) have taken office for the 2025–2028 term.
VFA is pleased to highlight the election of partner Bárbara Figueiredo as Secretary of the General Assembly Board. The new leadership team for the triennium is headed by Assunção Ataíde.

Founded in 2004, APBC is a non-profit association dedicated to enhancing Coimbra’s downtown as a vibrant area of commerce, leisure, culture and tourism, promoting the appreciation of this historic district and its economic fabric.

VFA’s participation in APBC’s work is particularly meaningful, as our firm is located on Rua Fernandes Tomás, an emblematic downtown street between Rua Visconde da Luz and the Sé Velha — an area where APBC’s initiatives have a direct impact on the daily life of the businesses that operate there, as well as residents and visitors.
