The Insolvency and Recovery Congress took place today in Lisbon, under the theme “Insolvency in the Lusophone World: Opportunity and Community.” The event brought together experts from Portugal, Angola, and Cape Verde to discuss the latest developments in insolvency, recovery, and applicable legal frameworks, fostering an environment of knowledge sharing and cooperation among Portuguese-speaking countries.
Organized by APDIR – the Portuguese Association for Insolvency and Recovery Law – and coordinated by Paulo Valério, the congress brought together academics, legal professionals, and industry experts for a day entirely dedicated to reflection and bridge-building within the field of corporate recovery.
